Welcome to the WebRTC Developer Portal.
Bringing WebRTC to our business
WebRTC is a free, open project that provides browsers and mobile applications with Real-Time Communications (RTC) capabilities via simple APIs. The objective of this WebRTC Developer Portal is to allow you - our customers and partners - to prototype your own WebRTC applications so that you can launch innovative communication-enabled services to your customers or subscribers based on Nokia and Quobis technology.
Nokia WebRTC enablers
Nokia supports WebRTC development for both our carrier and enterprise customers through APIs and developer tools available on this development portal. Our cloud-based Nokia Session Border Controller (SBC) both protects communications as they cross your network boundaries, and also acts as a WebRTC gateway.
Our partner Quobis is well-known as a leader in the deployment of WebRTC technology, with their industry-first WebRTC application server, called the Sippo WebRTC Application Controller.
